Dear Sir:
4 Pursuant to 10 CFR 50.73 Sections (a)(1) and (d), Licensee Event Report 269/86-12 concerning inoperability of the Standby Shutdown Facility was due to be submitted to your office by November 14, 1986. By letter dated November 14, 1986 Duke Power Company advised the NRC that the subject report was.in preparation and would be submitted by January 20, 1987. This report is currently being developed and will be submitted to your office by February 3, 1987.
