The Nuclear Regulatory Commission has rescheduled the presentation of its SALP findings relating to the performance of your reactor facility at Byron, Illinois; for Wednesday, January 28, 1987, from 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m., at the Nuclear Regulatory Comission Office, 799 Roosevelt Road, Glen Ellyn, IL.
Arrangements for this meeting were previously made between Mr. K. Ainger of l
your staff and Mr. W. Forney of Region III on January 9, 1987.
We encourage the Comonwealth Edison Company to have appropriate corporate and plant management representation at the meeting to ensure a mutual understanding of the issues and findings being presented by NRC.
While this meeting is considered a presentation and discussion forum between the Connonwealth Edison Company and the NRC, the meeting will be opened to any other interested parties as observers. Those persons outside the licensee and NRC staffs should inform the Regional Office, in advance of the meeting, of their intent to attend.
We hope this meeting will benefit your organization and provide you with a meaningful characterization of the overall safety performance for the Byron Station.
