SUMMARY

- V0GTLE FACILITY - DOCKET NO. 50-424 This refers to the management meeting conducted at your request in the NRC Bethesda Office on July 22, 1986.

This meeting was held to brief the NRC on the Vogtle Readiness Review Module entitled, " Independent Design Review".

It is our opinion that this meeting was beneficial and has provided a compre-hensive overview of the Vogtle Readiness Review Program and, specifically, the module presented.

These in-depth presentations will better enable the NRC to conduct its evaluations of this module.

In accordance with Section 2.790 of NRC's " Rules of Practice," Part 2, Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations, a copy of this letter and its enclosures will be placed in the NRC public Document Room.

Should you have any questions concerning these matters, we will be pleased to discuss them.
