Docket No. 50-482 Subj:
Inservice Testing Program for Pumps and Valves Gentleman:
Transmitted herewith is Revision 6 of the WCGS IST Program for Pumps and valves.
Revision 6 contains changes resulting from discussions.with the Staff and additional program enhancements. The specific changes, along with the basis for each change, are listed in Attachment 1.
Revision bars have been added to designate the changes to aid in your review.
The program continues to meet the requirements of 10 CFR 50.55a and the requirements of Section XI of the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code,1980 Edition through Winter 1981 Addenda to the extent practical.
It provides an effective program which will assure overall safe operation of the plant.
Tlvarefore, Wolf Creek Nuclear Operating Corporation has inplemented Revision 6 pending formal NRC acceptance of an IST program for WCGS.
A copy of the IST Program for Pumps and Valves Revision 6 is being provided to Mr. H. L. Magleby of EG&G Idaho, Inc.
If you have any questions on this submittal, please contact nu or Mr. O. L. Maynard of my staff.
Very truly yours,
-)

Item 7:
Change: Relief Re. quest PR-ll was revised tio include only the punts that are affected by the current ASME Section XI allowable rangjes 'ef test quantities'.
Basis for Change: Per meeting with EG&G/NRC, it was requested t'e list, on the relief request, only the pumps that were unable to meet Section XI allowable ranges. '
