The enclosed letter from Dave McLoughlin, Federal Emergency Management Agency

(FEMA), dated December 30, 1986, is in response to our requests of July 16 and i

September 30, 1986, for FEMA to review the offsite emergency plan for Shoreham.

The letter transmits the FEMA report (also enclosed) on the review of Revisions 6, 7 and 8 to the LILCO Transition Plan for Shoreham. Please continue to coordinate with FEMA Region II to ensure that the inadequacies identified by FEMA are corrected.
