DPR-42 50-306 DPR-60 Supplement to License Amendment Request Dated May 15,1997 incorporation of Voltage-Based Steam Generator Tube Repair Criteria (TAC Nos. M98944 and M98945)
On May 15,1997, NSP submitted a License Amendment Request which proposed changes to Section 4.12 of the Prairie Island Technical Specifications that would allow the use of voltage-based steam generator tube repair criteria. Another License Amendment Request, submitted on November 27,1996, related to the use of a new steam generator sleeve design, effects some of the same Technical Specification pages that are included in the May 15,1997 License Amendment Request. It appears likely that the November 27,1996 License Amendment Request will be approved and issued prior to the issuance of the May 15,1997 License Amendment Request.
Therefore, it was necessary to incorporate the Technical Specification changes resulting from the November 27,1596 License Amendment Request into the Technical Specification pages proposed as part of the May 15,1997 License Amendment Request. The revised Technical Specification pages are attachod.
Because the attached Technical Specification pages do not include any changes not previously transmitted to the NRC as part of the November 27,1996 or May 15,1997 License Amendment Requests and their supplements, the previously submitted Safety
