Enclosed find two (2) copies of the Semiannual Radioactive Effluent Release Report for the Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station, Unit No. 1, covering the third and fourth quarters of 1986. Additionally, the report

presents an annual summary of the doses to the public and hourly meteor-ological data as required per Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station, Unit No. 1 Operating License, Appendix A, Technical Specification Section 6.9.1.11.

The applicable portions of Regulatory Guides 1.109, 1.111, and 1.113 have been used along with NUREG-0133 for dose calculations and meteorological modeling methodology to demonstrate compliance with Appendix I to 10 CFR Part 50.
