1 (3) The periodic leak test required by this condition does not apply to sealed I l l sources that are stored and not being used. The sources excepted from this I

test shall be tested for leakage prior to any use or transfer to another I

> person unless they have been leak tested within six months prior to the 1

date of use or transfer. l l

B. The test shall be capable of detecting the presence of 0.005 microcurie of I radioactive material on the test sample. The test sample shall be taken from I the sealed source or from the surfaces of the, s device in which the sealed source I j is permanently mounted or stored on which"one might expect contamination to I i accumulate. Records of leak test results shall be kept in units of microcuries l and maintained for inspection by the Commission. i

contamination, the licensee shall immediately withdraw the sealed source from 1 J use and shall cause it to be decontaminated and repaired or to be disposed of in I

D. The licensee is authorized to collect leak test samples in accordance with the 1

by other persons specifically authorized by the Commission or an Agreement State l l to perform such services. I I

14. Sealed sources containing licensed material shall not be opened. I i
15. Except for plutonium contained in a medical device designed for individual human l application, no plutonium, regardless of form, shall be delivered to a carrier for p shipment by air transport or transported in an aircraft by the licensee except in 1 j packages the design of which the NRC has specifically approved for transport of I
plutonium by air. I I
16. Except as specifically provided other.iise by this license, the licensee shall possess I

i and use licensed material described in Items 6, 7, and 8 of this license in accordance with statements, representations, and procedures contained in application dated lI I

January 9, 1985. The Nuclear Regulatory Commission's regulations shall govern the i 1 licensee's statements in applications or letters, unless the statements are more I restrictive than the regulations. l
