Subject: Combined Inspection Report Nos. 50-245/86-24, 50-336/86-26, and
50-423/86-34
This refers to the routine inspection conducted by Mr. William Oliveira of this
office on November 17-20, 1986, at Millstone Units 1, 2, and 3, Waterford,
Connecticut of activities authorized by NRC License Nos. DPR-21, DPR-65 and
NPF-49 and to the discussions of our findings held by Mr. William Oliveira
with Mr. W. D. Romberg of your staff at the conclusion of the inspection.
Areas examined during this inspection are described in the NRC Region I
Inspection Report which is enclosed with this letter. Within these areas, the
inspection consisted of selective examinations of procedures and representative
records, interviews with personnel, and observations by the inspector.
Within the scope of this inspection, no violations were observed.
