Based upon this review, some.
. adjustments.are necessary prior to our approval under the provisions of 10 CFR 50.54(q).
Specifically,.the' Revision (No.-19) to Section;5"of the Rancho-

.Seco Emergency Fla'n' decreased"the one hour emergency staffing levels for'
- radiation protection personnel by five individuals.
This change to Section 5 limits your ability to provide health physics' coverage during an emergency and appears to decrease the effectiveness'of the Emergency. Plan.

suggestion _s forl' inspection conducted Januaryimproving the section,.were discuss interview of an 9-16, 1987.
