This transmits the findings of the routine NRC inspection of the Haddam Neck Plant
on November 18 through December 17, 1986. These findings have been discussed with
Mr. R. Graves of your staff.
No violations were ider.tified during this inspection and no reply to this letter
is required. We note, however, that unresolved items on the control of maintenance
and the inadequacy of your prohibition of three-loop operation are still being
evaluated for compliance with NRC requirements.
