This confirms the plans discussed with you by Mr. A. Bert Davis on July 31, 1986, to meet with you and others of your staff at 1:00 p.m. on August 7, 1986, in the Clinton Visitors Center.
The purpose of the meeting is to discuss NRC's concerns with station activities associated with Clinton's readiness to load fuel. Most of our concerns have been documented previously in inspection reports. Concerns recently documented by one of our inspectors are also enclosed in order that you may address these at our meeting.
A second meeting to review work remaining to be accomplished before Clinton is considered ready to load fuel should follow the first meeting. Both meetings will be open to the public.
We will gladly discuss any questions you have concerning these meetings.
