Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station Docket No. 50-219 Security Plan In accordance with 10CFR73.55, attached is a proposed revision to the Oyster Creek Physical Security Plan which is written to meet the amended requirements of paragraphs (a), (d)(2), (d)(7), (d)(9) and (e) (1) in section 73.55. The objcctive of this revision is to provide a more safety-conscious safeguards system while maintaining current levels of protection. The amended safeguards requirements of the above paragraphs will be implemented within 180 days af ter NRC approval of the proposed security plan.
This proposed revision is also written to meet ';he amended requirements of paragranh (d)(1) in section 73.55. This revision clarifie reouirements for entry searches of individuals to preclude the introduction of L7ntraband into protected areas at Oyster Creek. The amended search requirements of paragraph (d)(1) will be implemented within 60 days after NRC approval of the proposed security plan.
Also enclosed is a brief summary of changes for your convenience.
