This confirms plans as discussed recently between Mr. R. Woolley of your staff and Mr. R. DeFayette of my staff to conduct a meeting at 2:00 p.m. (EDT) on Monday, July 28, 1986 at the Nuclear Operations Center (H0C) at Fermi 2, 6400 North Dixie Highway, Newport, Michigan. The purpose of this meeting is for the Independent Overview Committee to brief us on its evaluation of Detroit Edison Company Management as it pertains to Fermi 2.
The public is invited to the meeting.
If projected startup is delayed significantly beyond July 30, we will postpone the meeting.
We will discuss any questions you may have concerning this matter.
