INCIDENT INVESTIGATION WORKSHOPS In my letter to you dated Decembar 4,1986 I indicated that I would ir. form you of the schedule for the regional workshops to discuss the Incident Investigation Program. Thus, I have enclosed the schedule and a preltninary agenda. Please note that we have included a session in the workshop on NRC's approach to

Performance Indicators.

l The regional administrator will invite each licensee (senior site management and corporate representatives) in his region to the workshop.

In order to prepare for the workshop, copies of the revised Incident Investigation proce-dures, our resolution of industry comments, and background information on the Performance Indicator Prograra will be provided well in advance of the workshops. Since you have provided comments on the procedures and since we

anticipate representatives from the Owners' Groups will attend a workshop, I have included a copy of these documents for your information and any distribu-tion you believe appropriate.
