BEFORE THE UNITED STATES NUCLEAR REGULATORY COW ISSION In the Matter of Docket Nos. 50-352 PHILADELPHIA ELECTRIC COMPANY 50-353 AMENDMElff NO. 83 T0-LICENSE APPLICATION OF PHILADELPHIA ELECTRIC COMPANY Philadelphia Electric Company hereby amends its Application in the above entitled proceedings (a) by making the deletions, substitutions, additions and changes to the Final Safety Analysis Report shown on the document entitled

" LIMERICK GENERATING STATION, UNITS 1 AND 2, FINAL SAFELY ANALYSIS REPORT, REVISION 47 PAGE CHANGES" dated October, 1986, which is filed herewith and made a part hereof; and (b) by making the deletions, substitutions and additions to the Emergency Plan shown on the document entitled " Limerick Generating Station, Units 1 6 2, Emergency Plan, Revision 14 Page Changes" dated October, 1986, which is filed herewith and made a part hereof.

Additionally, Revision 47 to the Final Safety Analysis Report, in accordance with Section 50.71 of the Commission's regulations and Licensee's letters of February 11 and July 28, 1986, further updates the FSAR to reflect l

information and analyses submitted to the Commission or prepared pursuant to l {

Comission requirement since the issuance of Facility Operating License l

NPF-39. The Revision brings the Final Safety Analysis Report up-to-date as of I

at least May 1, 1986.
