Routine Inspection 50-245/86-22; 50-336/86-23 (11/4/86 to 1/5/87)
This refers to the above subject resident inspection of Millstone Units 1 and 2.
The inspection findings have been discussed with Mr. Scace of your staff.
No violations were identified.
However, Section 7 of the enclosed report identi-
fies two operating reactor trips two and normal AC power losses at Millstone 2.
These involved inadequacies in performing electrical work and the use of electrical
diagrams that did not reflect installed wiring.
Please review the adequacy of your
control over such activities, and inform me of your planned corrective measures
,
within 30 days of receipt of this letter.
