Dear Mr. Cahill:

This letter forwards a copy of Revision and Status Update No. 3 of the Indian Point 3 Restart Action Plan (RAP). The NRC's NYPA Assessment Panel (NAP) revised the RAP based upon on-going inspection activities at Indian Point 3 and continued NAP oversight. Additionally, this revision added 2 new restart issues to Section II of the Restart Issues Checklist,11.38 - Resolve Welding Issues (Code compliance and NDE records) and 11.39 - Resolve Electrical Cable Duct Bank Issues. These restart issues were determined by the NAP to meet the restart issues criteria in the Plan. These additional restart items were previously discussed with Mr. Les Hill, Resident Manager at Indian Point 3.
