NRC INTEGRATED INSPECTION REPORT NOS. 50-369/97-10 AND
50 370/97-10
Dear Mr. Barron:
On August 9. 1997. the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) completed an
inspection at your McGuire 1 and 2 reactor facilities.
The enclosed report
presents the results of that inspection.
During the six-week period covered by this inspection period. your conduct of
activities at the McGuire facilities was generally characterized by safety-
conscious operations, sound engineering and maintenance practices, and careful
radiological work controls. Good operational control of both Unit 1 and Unit
2 power manipulations to support required maintenance was identified. Within
the scope of the inspection no cited violations or deviations were
identified.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the NRC's " Rules of Practice." a copy of
this letter and its enclosure will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room
(PDR).
