Dear Sir:
In Reference (b), which approved Seabrook Station's Class 2 & 3 Support Program, we were requested to pursue this issue further with ASME.
In this regard, we pursued the issue with a group of other inter-ested parties (e.g., Reedy Associates, Bechtel, Kemper, etc.).
A Code Interpretation was submitted to the ASME by Bechtel National, Inc. on behalf of the group. We have since been advised that the code interpre-tation should be published,in the July, 1986 ASME Code Interpretations.
A copy of this particular code interpretation [ Reference (c)] is pro-vided herewith.
