HOPE CREEK GENERATION STATION MONTHLY OPERATING

SUMMARY

JANUARY 1987 The Hope Creek Generating Station operated at essentially 100%

capacity for the entire month with the only load reduction taking place on January 2, 1987. The unit was reduced to approximately 80% power to allow a secondary condensate pump seal to be repaired. The unit has operated continuously since December 11, 1986 and on January 31, 1987, the reactor had been operating for 51 consecutive days.
