Employee Qualification This refers to the telephone conversation between Mr. L. Norrholm, of this office, and Mr. Burricelli of your staff, held on October 1,1986.
It has come to.our attention, through an anonymous source, that a previous employee of PSE&G may not possess valid education credentials.
This person, identified to you in our telephone conversation, may have served in.the capacity of a technical reviewer for your Nuclear Safety Review Group.
In that role, your Technical Specifications require a baccalaureate degree in engineering or related sciences.
We ask that you review this matter, including: determining the individual's educational background; and the implications relative to compliance with your Technical Specifications for Nuclear Safety Review.
Please provide a response to this office within 30 days of receipt of this letter stating the results of your review and a description of current professional employee screening methods.
The response requested by this letter is not subject to the clearance procedures of the Office of Management and Budget required by the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1980, PL 96-511.
