Dresden Nucle.pr Power Stations Units 1,2 and 3 Dresden Station Security Plan NRC Docket Nos. 50 10, 50-237 & 50-249 TRC Nos. 65237/65238 In July of this year, Comed revised its Security Organization to reflect a change from an on-site reporting function to an off site centralized organization.
The Security Plan was revised and was in the process of being submitted to the NRC per the requirements of 10CFR 50.54(p).
On September 3,1997 Comed realigned its Nuclear Operating Division's organizational structure to continue its focus on operational safety and performance improvements.
As a result, the Organizational Chart in the Security Plan was inaccurate and required a revision to properly depict this new realignment. While the July 1997 revision identified an "off site" reporting structure, the September realignment will require a " title block" change only.
We have concluded that both these changes do not decrease the Safeguards effectiveness of the Security Plan and to submit an Organirational Structure that was incorrect would not be prudent. Therefore, we will submit the current structure to you by November 3,1997.
