Dear Mr. Hagan:
We have reviewed your letter dated July 15,1997, and the enclosed scenario for the Grand Gulf Nuclear Station emeigency preparedness exercise scheduled for September 17, 1997.
l Based on our review, we determined that the exercise scenario is appropriate to meet emergency plan requirements and exercise objectivos. Minor questions were resolved during an August 22,1997, telephone discussion with Messrs. A. C. Morgan and L. Calvery of your staff.
We contacted the Federal Emergency Management Agency, Regions IV and.VI, during our review. Mr. R. Perdue (Region IV) and Mr. E. Boaze (Region VI) had no comments for us to relay to you.
