Attached is the scenario for the September 1997 emergency preparedness exercise for the Grand Gulf Nuclear Station (GGNS). There will be participation by the States of Mississippi and Louisiana, Claiborne County and Tensas Parish emergency response organizations.
The Nuclear Regulatory Commission will also participate in this drill.
The Grand Gulf Nuclear Station 1997 emergency preparedness exercise program scenario is based on the Nuclear Regulatory Commission's requirements delineated in 10CFR50.47 and 10CFR50 Appendix E, with additional guidance from NUREG-0654, FEMA, REP-1, Rev.1.
