7/22/99 COMMENT RESOLUTION in their vote sheets, Commissioners Diaz, McGaffigan, and Merrifield approved the staffs recommendation and Chairman Dieus approved in part' and disapproved in part the staffs recommendation and provided some additional comments. Chairman Dicus would have preferred the staff proceed with conforming changes to 10 CFR Part 72 (Section 72.75) and Part 73 (Section73.71) along with the rulemaking to change 50.72 and 50.73. Subsequently, the SRM was issued on August 13,1999.
