SPECIAL INSPECTION RE REPORT OF RADICACTIVE 111.UE OPAL.  !

CEMSTONFS On Janus 2,1982 Evelyn R. Hatson, Materials Inspector, interviewed in Royal Oak, Michigan, regarding his report that he had a rs onct ve rough blue opal (attached mean_s!.sted December 28, 1981, Phillip to Region III. file).

Mr. M revised his earlier comments l now stating ti at t the. hospital who surveyed ~the box of gemstones cuncluded that the radiation was not from the rough opal but origirated from samples  ;
