Subject:
San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station Probabilistic Risk Assessment Model By the referenced letter, Southern California Edison (Edison) was informed that the San Onofre Probabilistic Risk Assessment (PRA) model will be placed on the docket and in the public document room. The San Onofre PRA model does not contain any proprietary informatior;, and _ therefore, can be placed on the docket. However, the NRC staff should be advised that the San Onofre PRA model in its possession is no longer current.
San Onofre's most current PRA model is installed in its Safety Manitor which enables users to calculate in real time core damage had radioactive release risks of any plant condition, actual or hypothetical.
Edison made this Safety
-Monitor available to the_ NRC residents several years ago when it was installed on the site computer network.
