Inspection Report No. 50-336/86-27
This letter refers to the special announced safety inspection conducted by
Anthony A. Varela of this office on December 9-12, 1986 at the East Berlin
office and the Millstone Nuclear Power Station, Unit 2. Mr. Varela discussed
the results of the inspection with Mr. R. P. Werner of your staff at the
conclusion of the inspection.
Areas examined during this inspection are described in the NRC Region I
Inspection Report which is enclosed with this letter. Within these areas, the
inspection consisted of selective examinations of procedures and representative
records, interviews with personnel, and observations by the inspector.
Within the scope of this inspection, no violations were observed.
