Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station Docket No. 50-219 Technical Specification Change Request (TSCR) No.147 Pursuant to 10CFR50.90, GPU Nuclear Corporation, operator of the Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station (0CNGS), Provisional Operating License No. DPR-16, requests a change to Appendix A of that license.
The subject Technical Specification (TS) Change Request provides the technical basis for revising:
(1) the OCNGS TS limit for high drywell pressure from 2.4 psig to 3.5 psig, and (2) for bypassing the isolation condenser high flow trip function upon initiation of the alternate shutdown panel. We are requesting that TSCR No.147 be issued no later than October 17, 1986, in order to support Cycle 11 operation. Implementing procedures will be drafted and ready for final approval at that time.
This change request has been reviewed in accordance with Section 6.5 of the Oyster Creek Technical Specifications. We have concluded that this proposed change does not constitute a significant hazard consideration.
Pursuant to 10CFR50.91(b)(1), a copy of this change request has been sent to the State of New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection.
In addition, a check for $150.00 pursuant to 10CFR170.12 is enclosed.
