dated February 13, 1986 In accordance with our referenced letter, this submittal provides the follow-up report of fire-rated assemblies (specifically fire doors) found inoperable during routine surveillances in February 1986.

Fire doors found inoperable during the February routine surveillances are identified in the Attachment and include 13 latching mechanism failures and 7 closure mechanism failures. No doors were found blocked open in February.

As each of these deficiencies was identified, compensatory fire watches, pursuant to Technical Specification 3.7.9, Action Statement 'a', were established. Door mechanism failures are being corrected on an "as-found" basis.

The follow-up report covering inoperable fire doors identified in March 1986 will be submitted by April 16, 1986.
