Dear Mr. Murray:
As indicated in the Federal Register Notice 48 FR 5886 dated February 9, 1983, Region III of the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission assumed the responsibilities for the technical review of changes to the physical security, safeguards contingency and guard training and qualification plans submitted under the provisions of 10 CFR 50.54(p). To facilitate the review of such licensing actions af ter issuance of an operating license for the Perry Plant, the following guidance should be followed:
1.
Submit one (1) original transmittal letter with erclosures and five (5) copies of the transmittal letter with enclosures.
2.
Ensure that the transmittal letter does not contain any Safeguards Information.
3.
Submit the change to the:
