A routine radiological controls- inspection was conducted at the Hope Creek
Nuclear Generating Station by R. L. Nimitz during the period January 21-24,
and February 10, 12-14, 1986.
The findings of the inspection'were discussed
with Mr. R. S. Salvesen.

The inspection covered licensee action on previous inspection findings,
bulletins, circulars, and information notices; ' safety related ventilation
system testing; and the radiation monitoring system deferral request.

No violations were identified and no response to this~ letter is required.
