protection program. Within these areas, the inspection consisted of selective

examination.of procedures and representative records, interviews.with

personnel,' and observations by the NRC inspector. -The inspection findings are

documented in the enclosed inspection report.

Withinthescopeof.theinspection,noviol$tionsordeviationswere

identified.

However, we are concerned about the high-turnover rate among the

= technical support staff for the radiation protection program. . Accordingly, you

are requested to respond, in writing, within 30 days of the date of this

,

letter, regarding the root causes of the .bigh turnover rate and steps taken to

maintain a stable technical support staff

We have also examined actions you have taken with regard to previously

identified inspection findings.
