The purpose of this treeting, held at our request, was to ciscuss the results of exarninations a6ruinistered the week of Decen,ber 15, 1986, to operators ccn.pleting the Quad Cities Station accelerated requalification training progran;. Although approxir.kitely 50f of the operators exarr.ined failed, detailcd analysis did not identif) generic weaknesses indicative of prograrrenatic concerns requiring significant changes to the acceleratt.d requalification prograra. It is cur understanding that the identified individual weakness will be the subject of fur ther revicw and specific prograr, irnprovements incorporated as dppropriate. It is alSo our understar.dir.g that the exarninaticn failures will be retraincd and re-evaluate.d in accordance with the existing prograra requi rcraents .
