NRC INSPECTION REPORT NOS. 50-424/86-95 AND 50-425/86-45
Thank you for your response of December 19, 1986, to our Notice of Violation
issued on November 21, 1986, concerning activities conducted at your Vogtle
facility under NRC Construction Permit Nos. CPPR-108 and CPPR-109.
We have

carefully reviewed the basis for your denial of Part 1 of Violation B and we
(
agree with your position with respect to this part of the violation.
As a
(
result, we have deleted Part 1 of Violation B from our records. However, Part 2
\\
of Violation B still stands as issued.
We have evaluated your response with respect to Violations A, B, and C and found
that it meets the requirements of 10 CFR 2.201. The corrective actions taken by
you to resolve these violations were reviewed and determined to be acceptable in
Inspection Report No. 50-424, 425/87-06.
We now consider these items to be
closed.
