The changes have been forwarded to the staff for review to ensure that they do not decrease the effectiveness of the plan.

The review findings will be forwarded to you under separate letter.

Transmittal of Changes to the Radiological Emergency Response Plan

Reference:

Docket No. 50-285 Gentlemen:

Pursuant to 10 CFR 50, Part 50.54(q), four (4) copies of changes to the Fort Calhoun Station Radiological Emergency Response Plan are being provided to the Commission.

One (1) copy (for control copy number 165) is provided for your office.

Three (3) copies (for control copy numbers 154, 155 and 156) have been provided to the Reg'onal Office in Arlington, Texas. A transmittal sheet is provided for each copy to confirm receipt of the serialized docu-ment.

It is requested that these sheets be completed and returned within five (5) days of receipt.

Section K has been revised to n.aet current radiological requirements found in the Radiation Protection Manual.

Section M has been revised to identify only individuals filling specific positions rather than primary and alternate.

Section N has been revised to include the requirement of an Augmentation Drill, which is documented in EPT-17.
