A routine safety inspection was conducted by Mr. H. Bicehouse of this office on
March 23-27, 1987, of the water chemistry control program at the James A.
Fitzpatrick Nuclear Power Plant, Scriba, New York. Our findings were discussed
with you and other members of your staff at the conclusion of the inspection on
March 27, 1987.
The areas examined during this inspection are described in the NRC Region I
Inspection Report which is enclosed with this letter. Within these areas, the
inspection consisted of selective examination of procedures and representative
records, interviews with personnel and observations by the inspector.
Within the scope of this inspection, no violations were observed.
No reply to this letter is required. Your cooperation with us in this matter
is appreciated.
