FARLEY NUCLEAR PLANT UNITS 1 AND 2 We have completed our review of your submittals relating to the subject items. The submittals teve dated September 6 and November 4, 1983, February 6 and 15, and June 25, 1984, and July 17, 1985. Our enclosed safety evaluation finds your responses acceptable for Items 3.1.1, 3.1.2, 4.1 and 4.5.1.

However, the evaluation remains incomplete for Item 3.2.2 as indicated in Section II of the enclosure. During recent telecons your staff has agreed to provide a response to our concerns by October 1,1985. We agree with the proposed response schedule.
