This refers to the routine safety inspection conducted by Mr. W. B. Grant of
this office on August 18-22 and August 27-28, 1986, of activities at Braidwood
Station, Units 1 and 2, authorized by NRC Construction Permits No. CPPR-132 and
No. CPPR-133 and to the discussion of our findings with Mr. C. Schroeder at
the conclusion of the inspection.

The enclosed copy.of our insptction report identifies areas examined during
the inspection. Within these areas, the inspection consisted of a selective
examination of procedures and r?presentative records, observations, and
interviews with personnel.
