NPDES Monitoring Report San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station, Unit 2 i

The SONGS Monitoring Reports covering the month of December, the semi-annual period July-December, and the 1986 annual summary are submitted in accordance i

with the requirements of CRWQCB order 85-11 (NPDES Permit No. CA0108073). A summary of the generating unit's status and significant analytical results is provided below.

The unit was in operation during December. All sampled water sources were found to be within permit limits. The delta T was high (210F) on December 27 following heat' treatment. As noted in the November monthly report dated December 30, 1986, changes in operating practices have been implemented to prevent recerrence.

Pursuant to Order No. 85-11, Reporting Requirement 12, your letter dated l

June 25, 1985, authorizes the following representative (s) to sign and certify l
