In regard to our telephone conversation on August 1,1986 and your letter dated September 29,1986, I respectfully and belatedly request the following changes on the renewal of our license #SNM-870:
1.
Change item 7(A)(1) Scaled to read 7(A)(1) Plated electrodes in (2) fission counters.
2.
Change 7(A)(2) solids to read 7(A)(2) foils.
3.
Change item 7(B)(1) Scaled to read 7(B)(1) Scaled neutron sources.
4.
Change item 8(B)(1) Up to 283 grams... to read 8(B)(1) Up to 363 gra ms....
5.
Change item 7(B)(2) Plated detectors to read 7(B)(2) Plated detector s ources.
6.
Change item 7(C) Plates to read 7(C) Liquid.
7.
Change item 8(C) Up to 0.025 grams... to read 8(C) Up to 0.035 grams...
All other items of this renewal are the same as previously specified in my letter dated September 18,1980 and referenced in items 9,10, 11,12 and 15 of SNM-870. The only change is an anticipated addition of 5 Curie of PuBe neutron sources to be transferred to this license from the State University of New York (SUNY)- Stony Brook. This addition was anticipated in this renewal.
