Dear Dr. Crace:
Enclosed are revisions dated August 27, 1986 to the Browns Ferry and Sequoyah Nuclear Plants Physical Security / Contingency Plans and instructions for updating NRC copies 6 through 10 and 19.
These revisions are submitted pursuant to 10 CFR 50.54(p).
By my letter to you dated August 29, 1986, we submitted proposed 10 CFR 50.54(p) revisions to these plans.
As stated in that letter those revisions were not implemented. Those revisions were discussed with D. R. McGuire and F. Cantrell of your staff on September 3, 1986.
In that discuscion a change to the proposed revisions was agreed to.
It was further agreed that with the adoption of the changes, these revisions were consistent with 10 CFR 50.54(p) and could, therefore, be implemented immediately. The enclosed plan revisions incorporate the change agreed to in the September 3,1986 discussion and have been implemented. Please destroy all copies of plan revisions submitted by my August 29, 1986 letter and substitute the enclosed plan revisions.
