REFERRAL TO THE DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE (CASENO. 1-84-022)
It is the intention of this office to refer the enclosed 01 Report of Investigation to the Department of Justice on April 11, 1986, for prosecutive consideration as discussed in the referral letter attached to the report.
Since the OI investigation has developed evidence which leads OI to suspect that there was a deliberate material false statement made to the NRC, a copy of the report is provided herewith for consultation purposes. A copy was also provided to OGC for the same reason in keeping with current approved Comission guidelines for 01 referrals. Their coments are attached.
