SUBJECT:
Request for Delay to Provide Response Related to Generic Letter 86-06 The Omaha Public Power District (OPPD) was requested by Reference 2 to develop schedules for submittal of information requested in Section IV, Appendix A, of the safety evaluation for the Combustion Engineering Owners Group (CE0G) submittals on Reactor Pump Trip.
By Reference 3, OPPD committed to provide the information by April 1987.
The April date was predicated on the completion of tasks by the CE0G to develop information vital to our response.
OPPD has been informed that the work by the CE0G was not completed in the first quarter of 1987 as anticipated. The CE0G information required to prepare our response will not be available to OPPD until the end of the second quarter of 1987. Accordingly, OPPD respectfully requests that the April 1987 date for submittal of information requested by Generic Letter 86-06 be revised to July 1987.
