In accordance with your application dated April 13, 1987, and pursuant to Title 10, Code of Federal. Regulations, Part 70, Condition 8C of Materials License No. SNM-1954 is hereby amended authorizing the receipt, possession, storage, and installation in the reactor vessel two Californium primary source rods. Accordingly, Condition 8C shall read as follows:

l Condition 8C.

350pg of Cf-252, maximum 175pg per rod.

All other conditions of your license shall remain the same.

Enclosed is a copy of our Safety Evaluation Report in support of this amendment.
