Dear Mr. Williams:

We have received your revised License Annex submittal for the Hood & Containment System

. (Rev.1) at your plant transmitted by letter dated May 5,1999. Your submittal has been assigned TAC No. L31201. Please reference this number in any future correspondence associated with this submittal. This acknowledgment letter also closes out TAC No. L31164, which was the original License Annex submittal for the Hood & Containment System.-

We have completed the initial review of this License Annex with no administrative omissions or deficiencies identified. As stated in our November 23,1998, letter, please note that the complete technical review of your License Annexes will be primarily associated with the High . .;

Risk Systems (ADU Conversion, UN Bulk Storage System, URRS Dissolver System, and ADU '

Bulk Powder Blending System).

We have changed the review schedule for the License Annexes. We anticipate completing our review of the previous License Annexes as well as the License Annex for the revised Hood and Containment System by August 30,1999. In addition, our reviews may identify omissions in the {

submittal information or technical issues that require additional information.

1' Our review schedule could change depending on the findings of our technical review, urgent assignments, or other factors. We will promptly communicate any significant changes to this schedule.
