THE STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE'S SUPPLEMENTAL ANSWERS TO NEW ENGLAND COALITION ON NUCLEAR POLLUTION'S INTERROGATORIES AND REQUESTS FOR DOCUMENTS TO THE STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE ON EMERGENCY PLANNING FOR THE STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE PROPOUNDED ON APRIL 30, 1986 The State of New Hampshire hereby supplements its response to New England Coalition on Nuclear Pollution's Interrogatories and Requests for Documents to the State of New Hampshire on Emergency Planning for the State of New Hampshire, propounded on April 30, 1986.
RESPONSES TO SPECIFIC INTERROGATORIES Interrogatory No. 1 Contention Rye 2 Delete written response and insert:
The Rannie Webster Home has been licensed as Webster at Rye.
See Appendix F, Volume 20, NHRERP.
Contention Kensington 6 Delete written response and insert:
Volume 5 of the NHRERP includes Letters of Agreements with bus companies representing an availability of over 500 vehicles at any given moment.

o The State has obtained and will incorporate in Volume 5 of the NHRERP, the Letter of Agreement with the New Hampshire Towing Association, relative to the provision of towing services in the event of a radiological emergency at Seabrook Station.
There are also Letters of Agreement with several individual towing companies in or near the plume exposure EPZ.
Contention Kensington 10 Delete written response and insert:
The State of New Hampshire is amenable to moving the phone to the second floor command post of the Kensington EOC.
Likewise, the State is prepared to save additional phone lines and communication gear placed in the Kensington EOC when the Town accepts them.
Interrogatories Nos. 3(a) 3(c)
All reference to shellfish monitoring and analysis should be deleted, as Revision 2 of the NHRERP deleted this potential need for federal assistance.
Interrogatories Nos. 5(d) - 5(d)(iii) please note that Revision 2, references to 2 to 5 houts have been deleted; but the response continues to be a viable summary of changes made in Section 2.6 of Volume 1, NHRERP.
Interrogatories Nos. 6(d) - 6(e) please note that Appendix K has been revised to reflect the availability of potassium iodide (KI) for institutionalized individuals.
Instructions for administration of KI have been incorporated into all local plans and special facility plans.
