A special announced inspection was conducted on January 27-29, 1987 by
Dr. S. Sherbini and Ms. J. Cioffi at the Indian Point 3 Station. Discussions
of our findings were held by Dr. Sherbini with Mr. W. Josiger of your staff at
the conclusion of the inspection.
The purpose of this inspection was to review the implementation of the per-
sonnel dosimetry program. Details of the inspection appear in the enclosed
inspection report.

Within the scope of this inspection, no violations were identified. No reply
to this letter is required. Your cooperation with us in this matter is appre-
