Supplemental Response Gentlemen:
With regard to Dr. J.N. Grace's (NRC/0IE) February 11, 1987 letter which trans-mitted the NRC's evaluation of Duke's response (reference my letter to NRC Docu-ment Control Desk dated January 9,1987) to the subject inspection report's Notice of Violation, the following information is submitted pursuant to 10CFR 2.201(a) for Violation 50-370/86-35-03 as requested.
1.
Corrective steps which have been taken and the results achieved:
Step 12 of Enclosure 4.2 to OP/1&2/A/6100/01, Controlling Procedure for Unit Startup, was clarified to ensure wet layup recirculation is in proper align-ment prior to primary system heatup.
2.
Corrective steps which will be taken to avoid further violations:
The corrective measures implemented should ensure that no further incidents or violations of this type will occur.
3.
The date when full compliance will be achieved:
Full compliance was achieved on January 9, 1987.
